The Southern Depot was born out of a desire to bring all our passion points together in a way that is accessible to all. Deep at the heart of what we do, we ultimately recognise that it's community that makes most activities meaningful.
It's all about what makes us come alive, whether the joy of being on two-wheels, or a deep appreciation of the craft, skills and learnings that enable us to live life to the fullest.

About our name
The Southern Depot is an ode to Gillman Barracks' military background and southern location in Singapore, which once housed the British armed forces in 1936 and subsequently Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) units - in particular the 3rd Transport Battalion whose role was to provide support, vehicles and manpower relating to mobility. This heritage was an inspiration for DIDI's urban lifestyle concept revolving around Cycles, Craft and Community.
